Moss Rock

Moss Rock
Moss rock is what you use when you want a landscape to look like it has been there for years instead of freshly staged. We bring in weathered stone with natural lichens, moss, and textured faces that add instant age and character around beds, trees, and water features.

Because each piece is unique, you can create focal points that don't feel manufactured - just a few well-placed moss boulders can define a planting area, frame a walkway, or anchor a slope. Smaller pieces tuck nicely into garden borders, providing pockets for creeping groundcovers and perennials to spill over.

Around ponds, dry creek beds, and waterfalls, moss rock softens hard edges and blends manufactured liners or concrete into the surrounding grade. The rough faces break up water flow, add sound, and create great spots for plants and lighting.

We keep a range of sizes on the ground, from hand-movable pieces for DIY projects to larger stones that need machinery. Walk the yard, pick the exact shapes you want, and we'll load them for you. If you're mixing moss rock with river rock, gravel, or flagstone, we'll help you choose tones that work together so the finished space reads as one natural scene.

If you're not sure how many pieces you need, bring a few photos and rough dimensions. We'll talk through spacing, layering heights, and how to use stone to control grade so your beds drain correctly and look intentional, not just "rock dropped in the yard."
